1. Orders shipped through USPS:
Casa de Chocolates is not responsible for delayed, lost, stolen, or damaged shipments. Customers must file claims directly with USPS.
2. Orders shipped through UPS:
We will work directly with UPS to resolve claims for lost or delayed packages.
3. General Shipping Responsibility:
Casa de Chocolates is not liable for lost, stolen, damaged or delayed packages caused by weather, protests, holiday delays, or incorrect address input. Customers are responsible for tracking shipments and ensuring safe delivery.
4. P.O. Box Deliveries:
By shipping to a P.O. Box, you acknowledge you are going against our recommendation to avoid shipping to P.O. Box addresses and release Casa de Chocolates from any liability for lost, damaged, stolen, or delayed packages.
5. Notification of Issues:
Customers must contact Casa de Chocolates within 5 days of delivery or pick-up to report any damaged, delayed, or lost packages. This ensures sufficient time for us to process a claim.
Pick-Up Policy
• Orders will be ready for pick-up on the selected date and time.
• Orders can be picked up later, but must be picked up by closing time on the selected pick-up date.
• Orders not picked up within 2 days of the selected pick-up date will be canceled and incur a 20% restocking fee.
• Orders containing pastries, drinks, or custom/seasonal items will be canceled after 3 days. Due to perishability, these items will be disposed of to avoid contamination of fresh products. These items will not be refunded or replaced.
