65% Dark chocolate made with wild cacao from the Brazilian Amazon

This cacao was grown in the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest, where all cacao in the world comes from. Wild cacao grows naturally in the Amazon, no humans necessary. This results in smaller cocoa pods, smaller cocoa beans and distinct flavors from cacao grown in Bahia or any other place in Brazil.

We purchase the cacao from the cooperative which purchases whole cocoa pods from locals who harvest the pods from the forest.
